Whenever the necessity arises local school trips may be organised to support the curriculum. Costs will be kept to a minimum but voluntary contributions will be requested to help support these vital first hand learning experiences. Parental support on the day is also very welcome. We try to plan and roughly cost out as many trips as we can so parents may budget. If too many parents are unable to pay then we may have to cancel a school trip. Unfortunately coach prices are prohibitively high and immediately push even a reasonably priced entrance cost to as much as £17.

The cost of a school meal is £2.10 per say or £10.50 per week. You can pay this online by going to www.schoolgateway.com (Minimum payment £10.50 applies). You can also pay with cash or cheque to the school office. Please make cheques payable to The Discovery School.
