In line with the other schools in our collaboration (Kings Hill, Mereworth, Offham and Ryarsh), our School will reopen on Tuesday 2nd June, operating a gradual reopening for all pupils in Years R, 1 and 6.
The School will be closed on Monday 1st June as this day will be needed to ensure that final deep-cleaning can take place and staff can be fully appraised of all risk assessments and safety measures required for re-opening.
It has been some time since children were last in school and the children may be a little anxious about returning; particularly as things will be quite different to how they were when they were last in school. Our children in EYFS are likely to be the most unsettled about the changes. Therefore, we will be operating a phased re-introduction to school.
· Year R – children in Einstein, Newton and Jenner classes will start back on the 2nd June.
· Year 6 – children in Peake, Winston and Galileo will start back on the 3rd June.
· Year 1 – children in Faraday, Goodall and Darwin classes will start back on the 4th June.

The timetable for when children should wear their PE kit will be released on the week beginning 1st June and PE lessons will begin the week commencing 8th June.
