If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email Miss Meiners at the following address; hmeiners@discovery.kent.sch.uk

Like all of the classes in The Discovery School, our class was named after a famous scientist or inventor. Our class is named after Edwin Hubble, an astronomer who invented the Hubble telescope. To learn more about Edwin Hubble click on the image below.

Important Reminders

Below are some reminders that you may find helpful:

  • On Tuesday and Wednesday we have our PE lessons.  Tuesday is our outdoor PE slot and Wednesday is our indoor PE slot. Please can every child have their PE kit in school on these days. This should include a red t-shirt, a pair of blue shorts/trousers and plimsolls/trainers. Any child with earrings in are advised to take them out at home to prevent them being lost. However, if your child is unable to remove their own earrings please can you provide them with medical tape to secure them for PE lessons.
  • Reminder - children should not be wearing nail varnish, other make up or jewellery in school. This is for health and safety reasons. Watches are of course allowed but must be removed for PE lessons.
