Welcome to the wonderful world of Pasteur Class! The class is one of three Year 3 classes at The Discovery School and is led by Mrs Sinnott and Mrs Collins and ably assisted by the wonderful Mrs Madden, Mrs Steer and Mrs Stiff. The classroom is at the front of the school, next to the library. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to email Mrs Sinnott on email@example.com or make an appointment to discuss any concerns after school.
As part of our Year 3 science topic on plants, we have been investigating a murder! As you can see by the photos below, no blood was spilt, but some plants were seriously damaged! The children had to decide whether there really had been a murder by observing and recording the evidence. Then they made a case to explain their decisions. We thought about whether it is possible to "murder" a plant and how we could tell if the plants were still alive. We even had some ideas about who committed the "crime"!
