Welcome to the wonderful world of Nightingale Class! The class is one of three Year 3 classes at The Discovery School and is led by Mrs Dey and ably assisted by the wonderful Mrs Price and Miss Marle. The classroom is opposite the staffroom. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to make an appointment to discuss any concerns after school.
This week the children in Year 3 went on an incredible adventure to Samphire Hoe. They learnt all sorts of amazing facts about the coastline and how the area was created using the earth that was dug out in the creation of the Channel Tunnel. They also learnt about the erosion of the cliffs, the habitats of sea creatures and got to view nesting places using binoculars. A wonderful, yet tiring, day was had by children and staff alike! Check out some pictures of the day below.
